Jewelry Gallery: Handcrafted Designer Bracelets

Items shown in the gallery are either sold, gifted away, or in my personal collection. If you see a piece that you like, I may be able to make something similar, depending on bead availability, of course. Email me if you have any questions.

Lilly Pads - That's what I'll call it I thought the day we went canoeing out on Pine Lake. The pinks match perfectly the beautiful flowers sitting there sunning themselves on the water. There should be a frog, but you will have to use your imagination - perhaps prince charming is hiding in there somewhere... Eight of my handmade lampwork beads, hundreds of other accent and support crew beads. This big chunky bracelet fits my 6 1/2 inch wrist perfectly - if yours is the same size or a little smaller it will fit you too - sorry I can't resize, but I am trying to make more... and trying to figure out how to get the same look in an adjustable bracelet.

Magnolia Muse - Inspired by a photograph of a wonderful magnolia tree. This bracelet features a wonderful BIG Kate McKinnon clasp in sterling silver and two strands of glass, pearl and carved bone beads.

Early Bird I - What says spring more than a Robin Redbreast? The eggs in her nest of course. Three of my handmade lampwork beads mixed with an eclectic collection of glass, turquoise, a horn ladybug, and a nut bead. Closed with a sterling silver toggle clasp. 8 inches.

Early Bird II - Another spring bracelet in turquoise blues, greens, golds and coppery browns. One of my handmade lampwork beads mixed with turquoise, glass, resin, ceramic... closed with a sterling silver toggle. 8 inches. $45 (sold!)

Slew of Hearts Bracelet - Acrylic buttons in shades of red and burgundy mixed with a bead soup of seed beads. Bracelet is 7 1/2 inches long. Closed with a button toggle closure. $60.00 (Sold!)

Autumn I - Glowing carnelian, olive green nephrite, indian corn-colored mookaite, Karen Hill Tribe Silver. Almost 8 inches long - fits my 6 1/2 inch wrist just right.

Ancient Scrolls - I have been told these beautiful carved beads are "new jade". All I know for sure is they are pretty cool. Scrolly and earthy. Strung on soft brown leather and closed with a Hill Tribe toggle clasp. 8 1/2 inches long, fits my 6 1/2 inch wrist just great.

Swimming in the Deep Blue Sea Bracelet - featuring a nice Hill Tribe sterling silver fish bead, amazonite, turquoise and lapis beads and a bunch more sterling silver... Closed with a big chunky sterling silver claw clasp and chain. Adjustable from 7 1/4 to 8 1/4 inches.

Lucky Lady Bugs - Three Hill Tribe sterling silver lady bugs surrounded by soothing amazonite and more silver. Closed with a sterling silver claw clasp and chain with anotehr ladybug for a dangle. Adjustable from 7 3/4 to 8 1/2 inches.

Extinct - Fossilized dinosaur bones and recycled computer and television monitors make this very unique bracelet a conversation piece. Plus it's so comfortable and goes with everything. 8 1/2 inches long, it's the perfect size for my 6 1/4 inch wrist.

Calm Chaos - Something about this bracelet is so messy and chaotic, yet at the same time it is calming and soothing... the mess is obviously the two handmade sterling silver wire "nest" beads, and the greenish greyish stone is chalcedony and the ancient looking blue-green stones are chrysocolla. This bracelet is 9 inches long, but because the beads are bulky, it fits my 6.5 inch wrist just right. Closed with one of my favorite sterling toggles.

Midnight Bloom - One of my handmade glass flower beads with 6 matching lampwork beads, vintage blue faceted glass beads, sterling sliver and glass seed beads. 8 inches long.

Aqua Starfish - A watery funky version of my handmade glass starfish is the focal and clasp of this watery blue bracelet featuring 6 more of my lampwork beads.. 8 inches long.

Lime Energy - A really wonderful chunk of turquoise mixed with bright and light lime green gaspeite and tons more turquoise rondels and Bali sterling spacers. Closed with a sterling toggle clasp. 8 1/2 inches.

Purple Power - Flowery, swirly, bumpy purple beads by Candice Mathewson. Beautiful Karen Hill Tribe silver clasp. 8 inches long.

Purple Sea Star - One of my handmade starfish beads is the clasp for this fun purple glass bracelet. Features 7 more of my lampwork beads. 8 inches long.

True Blue - The perfect bracelet to wear every day with or without your jeans. Blue coral from Thailand, sky blue quartz and Bali sterling silver. Charms are wrapped on to the sterling silver chain using handmade fine silver headpins. Adjustable from 7 to 8 1/2 inches.

Lampwork flower clasp by Terri Budrow-Nelson of Washington state. Another spring favorite.

My new favorite bracelet. Purples and blues, inspired by a Stephanie Sersich bracelet I bought, but not made the same way as hers. Gotta love that wonky starfish button too - I made it!

Purple sea urchin bracelet. Made with Mary McDuck beads.

The very first lampwork beads I purchased that got me hooked on melting glass.

A gift for a friend's birthday. Sterling and pearls with garnets.

"Wine & Grapes" bracelet - my lampwork beads in purples and greens.

"Ocean Blues" bracelet - my lampwork beads in teals and blues.

A bangle made in the Connie Fox style.

A custom bangle made in the Connie Fox style. My lampwork, sterling silver.

"Cupid's Garden Bracelet" - three handmade purple and pink lampwork beads - one heart, two round - woven into a bracelet with a "bead soup" of various glass beads in purples and pinks. Closed with a sterling lobster clasp and chain with dangle.

A "Blues" Bracelet - perfect with denim. Eight fun and funky handmade lampwork glass beads (mine) in blues, greens and purples. Sterling silver wire and toggle clasp, and a Hill Tribe silver heart dangle. 8.75 inches long - fits nicely on a 7 inch or so wrist.

A special gift for a friend for her wedding.

Sandy beaches, hunting for shells, digging for gold - you never know what treasure you will find. This bracelet makes me think these thoughts... and wish summer weren't heading out and that my tan wasn't fading... Hidden in the sand is one of my handmade silvered lampwork beads - looks a little like a beautiful treasure stone that you try to grab underwater but the waves keep moving know what I mean - and is closed with a vintage button I snatched out of my mother's antique button box last visit - it says London on the inside of it and is either brass or copper or both - whatever it is, it feels nice and looks great with this bracelet.

A square stich bracelet that turned out Art Deco. Beaded stone cab clasp.

Raspberries and apples! The colors in this garden style bracelet are so flattering to most skin tones and will go so well with this spring and summer's fashions. Five of my own handmade lampwork beads in pinks, greens and purple, surrounded by fringes of seed and glass beads in pinks and greens. Closed with a nice chunky sterling silver trigger clasp and chain, it's adjustable from 7 inches to 8 1/2 inches.

Ladybug-red with black spots! This bracelet is made up of nine of my handmade lampwork beads - eight of them squished flat into some-what square tabs which lay flat on your wrist to make for a very comfortable wear. Closed with a nice chunky sterling silver lobster claw and chain, it's adjustable from 7 inches to 8 1/2 inches.

Eight of my handmade lampwork beads in layers of several shades of purple, mauve and violet with a subtle taupe make great swirls and patterns, and the purple bumpies sparkle like jewels. Strung with purple glass disks, this bracelet is earthy yet glamorous, and would look great with either khakis or that little black (or purple!) dress. Closed with a nice chunky sterling silver lobster claw and chain, it's adjustable from 7 inches to 8 1/2 inches.

"Black Raspberry" - this yummy bracelet just makes me smile - I haven't taken it off since I made it!

"Relaxation Bracelet" - This bracelet is earthy, yet sophisticated and feminine as well. The pink stones are rhodonite, which, if you are into what stones "do", promotes balance, love, attunement with spirituality and dispels stress. The clear brown stones are smokey quartz, which also relieves stress and promote relaxation. Pale peachy pink freshwater pearls, glass seed beads and a sterling silver clasp finish up this two strand bracelet. 7 inches. Check out the earrings section for a pair that goes perfectly with this bracelet.

A Red White & Blue bracelet for Independence Day.

A simple bracelet loaded with Carnelian and Karen Hill Tribe Silver. Carnelian is known for its healing and calming properties. I think it feels very zen and soothing. Closed with a big chunky sterling silver claw clasp and chain with a Hill Tribe Lady Bug dangle for good luck. Adjustable from 7 1/2 to almost 9 inches.

This is an ultra-luxurious spiral rope bracelet covered in vines of the prettiest shimmering Merlot/deep copper colored seed beads. Handmade copper swan clasp. 8 inches.

My "Snowflake" bracelet - spiral rope bracelet in denim blue seed beads, embellished with blue and silver bead spikes, closed with a handmade sterling silver swan clasp.

Here is a bracelet that will go with your cowboy boots... or maybe that peasant skirt... and definitely the suede jacket! Focal bead is Hill Tribe sterling silver, and it's surrounded by carnelian, lapis and more silver. Closed with a sterling silver claw clasp and chain. Adjustable from 7 to 8 inches.

This bracelet reminds me of the Southwest. Handmade lampwork beads in turquoise and ivory, with organic feathery black highlights, strung with Karen Hill Tribe sterling silver beads and little disks of turquoise. Bracelet is closed with a nice chunky sterling silver lobster claw clasp and a dangle made from more Hill Tribe silver and a lampwork bead in brick, ivory and turquoise. Adjustable from 6 1/2 inches to 7 1/2 inches.

Purple Polka Dots - Four of my own handmade lampwork beads in purple with little polka dots - three acting as focals and one ity-bitty-teeny-tiny one as part of the dangle on the clasp - strung with purple and black glass beads to make very sweet little bracelet. Red and Purple - Inspired by the poem, Warning, by Jenny Joseph, which starts out: When I am an old woman I shall wear purple - With a red hat which doesn't go and doesn't suit me, this bracelet has a fun and spunky personality all it's own. Handmade lampwork beads (not made by me this time) and sterling silver lobster claw clasp and chain. Adjustable from 7 inches to 8 1/2 inches. (Sold! - But I can make this or similar to order - $50.00 - just drop me a note.)

Some of my very first lampwork beads, strung into a bracelet with sterling sliver. Each bead took me over 45 minutes to make - I wear this one proudly!
